Dr. Scott Rossio was born in San Francisco, California but lived several places in the United States before his family settled in Columbus, Ohio. Moving around growing up allowed him to experience opportunities he may not have otherwise had. He was an avid sportsman, playing hockey in Edina, Minnesota, while later playing basketball, football, and being Captain of the track team in Columbus.
Other than sports, Dr. Rossio didn't have many interests until his ninth grade teacher, Mr. Andre, introduced him to science. This exposure opened his world to the wonders of chemistry, physics, and biology. Dr. Rossio was a Zoology major at the Ohio State University where he was President of his fraternity. Later he went to the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. He was a member of the Pi Delta Honor Society, graduating with honors, in 1989.
Dr. Rossio worked in Columbus for two years before opening his own practice in the Dayton, Ohio region. He worked as a sole practitioner for 29 years, owning several offices. It was here that he and his wife raised two boys and several dogs. Then in the summer of 2018, with both boys away at college, Dr. and Mrs. Rossio desired to move closer to family. In the spring of 2019 Dr. Rossio joined Foot and Ankle Specialists of Central Ohio.
Serving the Columbus Metropolitan area, Reynoldsburg and Newark. Dr. Rossio staffs the Licking Memorial wound clinic.
